Dr. Senthil Arun is a well qualified and trained Orthodontist practicing dentistry for more than 20 years. He has established himself committing to years of dedicated education and clinical training required to set highest standards for clinical practice of dentistry with focus on Orthodontics.
Dr. Arun, originally from India, began his dental career by earning his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from Ragas Dental College in Chennai, India, where he graduated with distinction and received several awards for academic excellence. After moving to the United States, he pursued advanced education and research, completing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Oral Biology with distinction from the Medical College of Georgia (now Augusta University). His dedication to dentistry led him to the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated with high honors and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
Dr. Arun further specialized in orthodontics at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, where he completed a post-graduate certification program and earned a Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD). His commitment to excellence drives him to stay at the forefront of orthodontics by actively participating in national and international conferences, workshops, and continuing education courses.
He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) and the Midwestern Society of Orthodontists (MSO). Beyond his private practice, Dr. Arun shares his expertise as clinical faculty in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at NYU Langone Dental Medicine – Columbia, MO, where he trains pediatric dental residents in orthodontics. He is also a proud preferred provider for Smiles Change Lives, a non-profit organization that helps children from families who cannot afford the full cost of braces. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Arun enjoys reading across genres, traveling, exploring new technology, and spending time with his wife, Aarti (a dental hygienist), and their two sons, Tejas and Shreyas. His enthusiasm for innovation extends to his practice, where he ensures that patients benefit from the latest advancements in orthodontic care.
